Description: This is an ungraded and seemingly uncirculated 1857 D Uruguay 40 Centesimos. It is believed to be uncirculated because of its near perfect condition, although that claim cannot be stated with 100% accuracy. This copper coin has a large sun with rays on its obverse side, and the coin’s value within a wreath on the reverse. This coin is in great condition with no major damage save for a few small nicks along the outer rim, and a small dent along the bottom rim of the reverse (see picture).
